I recently came up with some resistance and self-doubt in my business and decided to start again. Back to the drawing board to clear the slate and go back to basics. As a small business owner, you can get dragged in so many different directions. It’s exhausting, and then you lose your meaning and purpose. It becomes hard work.

I wandered for months and lost sight of my vision. There I was bending and swaying and trying to be a coach to everyone. I forgot about the people who I serve best with my life experience and skills. Then this happened. Someone who I had never met before but followed a lot of my blogs and post on social media sent me this.

I cried, I knew I had to do something.

There is no shame in admitting I got it wrong. I have come too far to give it all up because of my stubborn pride it stops here right now. I had enough of my procrastinating. I will not allow myself to be distracted by what others are any longer.

Time to take action.

It was time to follow my heart and gut in my business. My heart has never let me down before my brand is unique to me I will attract who I am in my clients.

So how did I do it?

Well, it is all thanks to this great article I found on the startup grind by Alex Chuang. Two weeks ago I gave myself that 24 hours to hack my brand, and it was time well spent. Thank you, Alex!

I’m living bravely and sharing it with you all. In doing so, I hope that if you are in business today no matter what your product or service may be and you are struggling. Stop now. The minute you feel it is starting to feel difficult ask yourself why? Take the time out to start again don’t over complicate it the answers are right in front of us if we look hard enough.

So here goes: Takes deep breath!

To health, happiness and success in life and business!
