Thank you for this. I’m glad someone sees the contradiction here. It seems like all this article and this show really do are further divide white and black people. It loses on all fronts. It offends white non-racists for being lumped into this category of black-face partiers, it causes racist whites to see it as another example of the victim card, and it further pushes those who DO feel victimized by racism into feeling more victimized. This kind of thing is only making the situation worse, not healing it.
