Day 16 — Jesus ישוע is the Divine Lamb of the True God, the God of Israel YHWH יהוה, who was Slain for Humanity — but is now Resurrected and Reigning

Revelation 5:11–12

Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels and living creatures and elders encircling the throne, and their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands. saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”

Whenever Jesus ישוע was referred to as The Lamb (John 1:29, 1 Peter 1:19) it speaks of His role as the Atoning Sacrifice — the One who would Die the Substitutionary Death to Pay the Penalty for Sin on Behalf of Mankind:

John 1:29

The next day he saw Jesus ישוע coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘣 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥 YHWH יהוה, who takes away the Sin of the world!”

The prophecy of the book of Isaiah, written 700 years before the Incarnation of Jesus ישוע, has even laid out the description of the Coming Messiah’s המשיח Mission in advance — portraying Him as a Lamb stricken for the Transgressions of the People of YHWH יהוה:

Isaiah 53:7–8

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘣 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵, So He opened not His mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨; 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯.

However, the Narrative did not end at His death because the Resurrected Lamb, as described in the prophecy of the book of Revelation, is also portrayed as the One who Redeems Humanity and allows them to Reign in the New Earth:

Revelation 5:8–10

And when he had received the scroll, The Four Beasts and 24 Elders 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘣, while each one of them had a stringed instrument and a vessel of gold full of sweet spices, which are the prayers of The Holy Ones. And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩.”

Indeed, Worthy is the Resurrected Eternal Lamb — Praise the God of Israel YHWH יהוה for all His Judgements and Ways are True. May He bless each and every one of you today.
