¨phone their mother¨ The purpose of education is that kids move on from letting their mums make the decisions. This works both ways: adults need to let go and kids need to become independent. Tech is part of that as it enables young ones to inter communicate and see what´s going on. The problem is that the higher ups making decisions about tech purchases do not understand either tech or sometimes kids or indeed (in too many cases) what day of the week it is.
