From the perspective of Paul Mengert, Association Management Group (AMG) CEO, is concerned, his company has served an important educational function, even as it has been an important reminder of his roots. He founded AMG in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the city where he was born and raised. His love for his community is strong and it leads him to give back whenever he can. After all, Paul Mengert’s life has been spent in service to his community of Greensboro, especially when it comes to education.
Before Paul Mengert founded AMG, he majored in Political Science and Communications at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Since then, he has devote much of his life and career to education and training. For example, many companies have sent executives to the classes he teaches as part of the Management Development Program for the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Charlotte, including prominent companies such as Microsoft and Pfizer. With AMG, Paul Mengert demonstrates his strong devotion to education and training. Besides being a part of the national senior faculty for the Community Associations Institute for years, he still teaches classes designed to make homeowner’s associations stronger. These courses serve as continuing education credits by many diverse groups, including the North Carolina Board of Realtors, the South Carolina Department of Real Estate and others all over the country.
