For the very same reasons, I swapped my iPhone 6 for a Nexus 6P late last year. As someone involved in product development, I also felt like it was necessary to expose myself to alternative platforms in order to gain perspective and learn. Now, after a year of daily use, I’m ready to buy the the next iPhone. This actually has nothing to do with Android itself -its differences simply fade into the background. Half the time, people think it’s an iPhone. While Android has some neat features, there are a few iOS apps that I never quite forgot. iOS apps are generally prettier and less laggy -especially for making music.
