Chris (Ferf!?!) thank you for posting this. I think you’ve put into words a perception that some of us share - that the brass ring is only available to those who are on a certain merry go round. It shouldn’t take an inordinate amount of intestinal fortitude to write what you’ve written here; the fact that it does seems to underscore the notion that there are — as Ned Beatty put in “Network” — certain primal forces that should not be meddled with. I’m pleased to see you had an otherwise notable startup-to-exit experience. But I concur, it’s bizarre that this is the first I’m hearing of it.
