The Principle of adding value…

Reading at the moment “Principles”, by Ray Dalio…

Ray has identified many principles in people who are creating successful outcomes and considered to be successful in the eyes of the world…

People like…

⁃ Bill Gates…
⁃ Jeff bezos…
⁃ Warren Buffet…
⁃ Mark Zuckerberg…
⁃ Richard Branson…
⁃ Elon Musk…

And he has identified one principle that exist in all of them that I would like to mention here…

It’s the principle of adding value…

All of them when they started their businesses were coming from the mindset of adding value by creating a product and service…

Ray goes on to mention that, he hasn’t found a principle in these successful people that they were thinking I want make millions or even billions of dollars and made it because if that thinking…

What he has identified is that they added massive value to the world and as a second or third order consequence they were rewarded with added value coming back to them in the form of money and other accolades…

Here’s the deal…

We are governed by Principles of the universe and knowing these principles and working with them allows us to enjoy a much more rewarding and stress free life…

For example…

If I ignore the principle of gravity I could live a very painful life yet if I live my life respecting this principle I can have a much more enjoyable life experience…

Practice the principle of adding massive value to your family, friends, colleagues, employer, customers and clients and enjoy the second and third order benefits of this principle…
