USPS
A couple of thoughts on the ever popular USPS and our interactions.
As a business, it amazes me that we can go three days with no mail. No junk mail or business mailer ads. We’re evidently not on anyone’s radar, and this fact keeps our clutter and trash down to a manageable amount.
We have a prime example of how mired in the dark ages, the USPS and it’s operations are. Driving distance from our business to Duluth, Minnesota is 84.2 miles according to google maps. This is a road trip for us of less than two hours. However, it routinely takes the USPS four to seven days to have mail sent from Duluth to us. We do know that mail for some reason has to travel the Minneapolis/St. Paul prior to it coming back north to us. This is a prime example of a complete lack of customer service.
