Timeline || Post Extrapolation

In Timeline, when you have a clip selected, this window pops up in the Inspector window:

The part to draw focus on for this article is the Post-Extrapolate section and its values:

The default value of a clip Post-Extrapolation is set to ‘Hold’, this simply makes the animation freeze when it is over:

The ‘Loop’ value will make the animation clip loop while there is no other clip in the time line that needs to play, but as soon as it comes to another clip, it will switch to the next clip:

The ‘Ping-Pong’ value will make it so that once the clip is over, it plays again, but in reverse:

And the last value ‘Continue’ simply makes it so that if the clip is shortened, the clip will keep on playing, here is the clip shortened with ‘Hold’:

And the clip shortened but with ‘Continue’:
