Fire clients at least 5 times more often than you get fired.
Always do it for the same reason: if their behavior erodes the morale of the people working on their account. Do not allow this from any client.

This one is quite easy. Sometimes, the damage a client does to you doesn’t worth the money they pay. I just got rid of one client, who was so iterative, so unorganized, that moving on with the project wasted my time, money, and morale. When you see this, drop him.
