The Government is Suing the Government?

After heavy criticism from the public and the Whigs, Chancellor of Res Publica filed a lawsuit against the government over ill-treatment of refugees and migrants on Tuesday.

The leader of the Whigs and Chancellor of Res Publica, John Corleone announced that the government will need to take responsibility for ‘unfortunate situation’ that the refugees are facing in offshore detention facilities.

The announcement came after the Whigs joined the public anger over the treatment of refugees and human rights violation in offshore detention facilities since 2012, which more than 500 cases were reported.

Res Publica has 4 offshore detention facilities which based in the neighbouring countries. To maintain these detention facilities, Res Publica to pay more than 1 million dollars for rent of land and hiring local staffs.
