WPI bad design

This no food/drink sign located in Atwater kent is an example of a bad design on WPI. The sign intended for students, faculty, and staff tells informs them that there is no food/drinks allowed within the lab. However does not have specifics of some sort. What if the drink is closed, or the food is closed? As well as the letters of NO FOOD OR DRINK are larger and in red, which can feel threatening to the user, if they mistakenly do bring in food or drink. As I have personally seen people bring in food and drink into the lab, showing the signs ineffectiveness and peoples lack of attention towards the sign.
