Recently, I got an Apple Watch as a Christmas gift. However, sadly I can not join the Apple Watch to my hidden SSID WiFi. At last, I found a third-party app to make it works.
Let’s go step by step
- Download the App “WiFi Hidden” from the AppStore. The App includes an iPhone app and an Apple Watch app. you can use the iPhone app to assist but also the Apple Watch app works it alone.
- Make sure you have installed the “WiFi Hidden” app for Apple Watch. If you have installed it, skip this step.
If not, launch the Apple Official Watch app.
And, find the “WiFi Hidden” app in the available apps list, then click “Install” button in the right.
3. Launch the “WiFi Hidden” app for Apple Watch.
4. Launch the “WiFi Hidden” app for iPhone, then enter the WiFi information on iPhone. Finally, Click the “Configure the WiFi Network” button to continue.
5. After that, the join the WiFi request alerts on Apple Watch. Click “Join” to connect the WLAN Network for the Apple Watch.
OK, done.

When you input the WiFi SSID and passphrase on Apple Watch, usually, it is hard, and the Apple Watch offers a convenient way, when you enter the input mode on Apple Watch, at the same time, a Apple Watch keyboard request alert on your iPhone, you can enter text on Apple watch with iOS keyboard.
Notes:
Only 2.4G band WiFi is supported for Apple Watch.
