I am not exactly a C# developer, but I have been a C developer and a Linux developer, and once, long ago, a Visual Basic devloper.

I have also done a bunch of other stuff with network protocols & stuff, so I have a sharp interest in all manners of network communications by apps.

I am very interested in getting the Pathos game running on my GNU/Linux, and since that means getting Invention working, that’s where I’m starting. Specifically, I have installed Mono, MonoDevelop, and gtk-sharp on the system. (as of 2017–09–02)

[Edit: Am starting with understanding the code that constructs the Graphical Telnet Packets on the server side, and the complementary client code. Initial goal is to get Invention to build on the Linux platform using MonoDevelop.]
