BOLA TINUBU

Bola Tinubu, whose full name is Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, is a Nigerian politician and a prominent figure in Nigerian politics. He was born on March 29, 1952, in Lagos, Nigeria. Tinubu is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party and has played a significant role in shaping Nigerian politics, particularly in the southwestern region of the country.

Tinubu began his political career in the 1990s when he became a senator in the Nigerian National Assembly, representing the Lagos West constituency. He later served as the Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007. During his tenure as governor, he implemented various reforms and initiatives that contributed to the development and modernization of Lagos State.

As a key political strategist and influential leader, Tinubu played a crucial role in the formation of the APC, which emerged as a major political party in Nigeria. The party was instrumental in the 2015 presidential election, where Muhammadu Buhari, a member of the APC, was elected as the President of Nigeria. Tinubu is considered one of the national leaders of the APC.

It is important to note that my knowledge cutoff is in September 2021, so there may have been further developments or changes regarding Bola Tinubu's political career since then.
