Eric Tilley, @nd_esteem ‘14
“I am a problem solver, a critical thinker, creative, team oriented, and am used to working in high pressure environments. Aside from work, there is a good chance that I’ll be found in the mountains getting some fresh air (or fresh snow)!” Since graduating from the ESTEEM program, Eric has worked for Covalent Marketing in the beautiful city of Denver. Covalent Marketing focuses on making marketing smarter, whether that be through the latest and greatest technology, enhancing and optimizing current technology, or by improving marketing processes.

Eric’s experiences in ESTEEM, especially his Capstone Thesis, allowed him to apply real-world business concepts to his health science background. Rather than being black and white like many academic courses, the Capstone Thesis provided Eric the opportunity to get creative with the application of the deep knowledge that he acquired over the course of the year. For Eric, this experience was significant in moving him forward into job opportunities and life outside ESTEEM.
His startup (South Bend Student Housing), which he still runs today, compiles student housing options in South Bend. It was a venture that arose from his academic exercise for his business design class.

Eric’s favorite memories of ESTEEM include their trip to Silicon Valley, college football games and his experience of founding his own startup.
