Can Communal Living Ever Not Make People Insufferable?
Ester Bloom

Iiiiiinteresting how in the Atlantic piece they felt the need to drop that one of the commune members was a Yale grad, as if to legitimize that this is a civilized commune full of artistes who want to live in a community, not just a group of poor people living on a plot of land with only one bathroom and a bunch of garbage in the yard. I don’t really mind people who live in communes/co-ops, these pieces stink of white privilege. There are many black, brown, and poor white families who live this way across the US, but they’re not the subject of whimsical, “oh those silly millennial” think pieces.
