Transcribot

So this week I build a tool which can be used to generate Transcript from youtube video using link.

The reason I build this — I joined my job in may 2024. Prior to that I used to listen lot of podcast in audio format (using snaptube). So after joining Job i didn’t get enough time to listen to podcast, then i switched my learning method from audio to text. So from then I had read lot of articles. So I tried finding some transcript tools on internet. And every tool I encountered was of no use. I don’t understand who uses those crap tools. Like why they even exist?

Now this is the transcript of a video I wanted to consume —

Neither I am so good in Hindi and at the same time. It has some grammar error in Hindi also.

So this is the podcast transcript of Nhikhil Kamath (founder of zerodha)

So in this if you see there are lot of words like uh, oh, some words are getting repeated. I am not able to understand who is speaking host or guest.

I can’t get different language (like hindi) podcast in English. I can’t download the transcript for later use.

So I started building a tool to solve the listed above problem. I just launched the version 1 of the product. Currently this tool is not solving the problem I faced. But the current status is similar to these tool available in market. In upcoming week I will update it.

So this will be my first product that I am launching properly in market. I will continuosly work on it.
