Why Finding Money In The Pocket Is Still One Of The Best Feelings Ever

Who doesn’t like finding money that you forgot even existed?

If you never found forgotten money in your pocket, I’m truly sorry for you.

That’s because this is one of the best feelings one could have, especially on those hurried days, when your only focus is to do something you don’t like as quickly as possible.

I remember a few occasions where this happened to me.

My wife was working part-time as a French teacher in a school in Brazil, the goal was to make more money in preparation for coming to Canada. Since she wasn’t a regular teacher there, she always received her payments inside an envelope with a few 20 or 50 bills.

Unfortunately, due to our very hurried routine, we couldn’t regularly go to the bank or an ATM to deposit it. So, out of habit, she hid those envelopes in the most random spots possible: deep inside drawers, inside books, over wardrobes, in the middle of storage boxes, etc.

But there is a catch, there’s always a catch.

She forgot where the money was and I didn’t even know she hid the money.
