The true issue is this: YOUR DAD MAY ATTEND ANY RALLY AND SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE HE WANTS. What happened to being a free country? He is a private citizen and his interest/support/endorsement is his to give. At least he is active in the political process. This country has far fewer monsters and more real problems than we care to admit. You don’t like Cruz? Support an opponent! But don’t criticize — or defend for that matter — a basic right that shouldn’t be taken for granted. RD committed no crime by being at this rally and there are far bigger issues than one guy supporting one candidate publicly.
