Medium On Android

At long last, Medium has come to Android — in beta.

Just today, was accepted to partake in the beta test for Medium on Android. I am wasting no time in writing this article to try out the new app on my phone and tablet.

My first though when I opened the app? This is nice. They’re doing it right.

Material design is being followed as it should. Navigation is clear and not confusing. Writing a new article, as I’m doing now, looks and feels just fine.

For text formatting, it looks like its kept extra simple, in true Medium fashion. I only have options to use title/heading, quote, link, or adding an image. There is no bold, italic, etc. to choose from.

Adding a photo is as straight forward as it can get. Press the image icon and you’re on your way.

Don’t sweat the petty things, and don’t pet the sweaty things.

I’ll be sure to post either a follow up article with my thoughts on Medium for Android, else, just keep an eye out for more articles from me.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
