Leaving France for the USA was a hard choice. Following a macro analysis helped me to reduce risks and add perspective. I expected Capital risk to shrink as a direct effect of the financial crisis, and crowd funding to develop along with Micro Venture Capital (e.g. 500 startups). None of this would have happend in France, but it was going to happen in America where the crisis hit first. So I went where no one wanted to go back then : San Francisco.

Countries like India China Nigeria or Indonesia will be booming in the next 20 years. In China and India alone, more than 2 billion people will have access to the middle class. In scale it is 100 times larger than the last industrial revolution, in speed it will be 10 times faster! Are you, or do you have contact in these countries? If not you might want to think about it.
