What an excellent piece of writing. As a young African this was very thought provoking for me. We’re the source of our own problems as well as their only cure. I do wonder though if at all all of the support from other countries haven’t helped at least even just a little or maybe I do not see clearly, could it only be the symptoms that the foreigners are trying to fix? And is it as a result of ignorance or the desire to make an “impact” or just self glorification?
