I think a big part of what makes Trump popular is that a lot of people are sick of career politicians. They’ve been talking about the same issues for decades but have done very little except stuff their pockets. You can watch episodes of Archie Bunker from over 40 years ago and hear him talk about immigration, gun control (I love his theory on gun control — hysterical) the economy, war etc. The same issues they talk about today.

I don’t like or support anyone running, everyone talks about making it easier for the middle class but do nothing but make it harder for them. For example people’s health insurance premiums have skyrocketed with higher deductibles, it’s not the doctors making the money it’s the insurance companies.The same( publicly traded/for profit) insurance companies that have politicians BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN in their pocket.

Another winning idea is the “ accredited investor rule”which basically leaves people who make less than $200,000 a year or with a liquid net worth of less than $1,000,000 ( not including your home cause then a lot of people in NY,CA and NJ would qualify) with not too many investment options but their 401k so the politicians buddies on Wall Street can make commissions,management fees that compound better over time than your investments will ,and premium lending shares for short selling. This rule is to “protect unsophisticated investors.” Hmmm, you CAN invest in peer to peer or marketplace lending which is backed by unsecured personal loans, but are legally not allowed to invest in platforms that do the same thing but the loans are mortgages backed by real estate.

A lot of people find it harder than ever to make a living but the politicians bicker about gay people getting married and who’s using what bathroom-WHO CARES?Unfortunately people aren’t that smart and are easily distracted from the real issues.

One more thing- every candidate on both sides agrees that guy in Syria, Assad “has to go” as they say. I guess these morons haven’t learned from the past what happens when you get rid of one of these dictators in one of these countries.

Just my 2cents, I’ll be using George Carlin’s theory on voting this year.
