Legal IT Insider reports on the launch of GravityStack by Reed Smith, following hot on the heels of the launch of their legalTech summer placement programme. As a data driven legalTech and solutions company, GravityStack aims to help legal departments, LPOs and law firms maximise efficiency. According to the GravityStack website the company will:

  • Put data-driven focus on key legal challenges
  • Leverage effective solutions built on real industry knowledge
  • Attain more intelligent results by applying multi-faceted perspectives

April 23rd: LegalTech is Building its Profile in the Professional Community

According to an article by Denise Devaeu on Techvibes: “With the advent of AI, machine learning and cloud-based services, among other technologies, a historically risk-averse industry is now taking notice.”

April 23rd: Mitratech acquires ThinkSmart

Mitratech have announced their acquisition of ThinkSmart, resulting in what they claim is the first end-to-end legal operations platform. According to the press release:

“With the addition of ThinkSmart and the ThinkSmart Automation Platform (TAP), Mitratech’s TeamConnect platform can now bring people, processes and information together like never before, by leveraging TAP’s easy-to-use workflow automation engine to extend TeamConnect’s reach across the entire enterprise.”
