The Lapsang Souchong Cat

So the last few evenings, I’ve noticed that my cat comes home smelling peculiar. Tonight I pinned down the specific smell as Lapsang Souchong tea. Its a sort of smoky yet delicately fragranced scent.

When I thought it was regular cigarette smoke I was pretty okay about it. I mean, its naturally disappointing that a three year old would be hanging around smokers but even so. It was easy to see how she would get in with a bad crowd. The old smoky ladies with their cosy houses; any cat would be curious.

But now that its Lapsang, its another matter entirely.

I mean.

How?!

Her life is enviable enough without this level of mystery.
