Hello my dear reader! Glad you came here and have a nice reading! 😊Feel free to share your reaction. I’m open to any discussion.

Feeling left out because the Medium Partner Program isn’t offered in your country? I can really relate to you because I experienced a similar emotion. But don’t stress too long, because there are various additional methods to earn money from your content and build a successful writing career on Medium.

First things first, let’s talk about why the Medium Partner Program might not be available in your country. According to Medium, the program is currently only available in a limited number of countries, and it depends on the laws and regulations of each country.

However, this does not preclude you from earning money by publishing on Medium. To consider are these options:

  1. Sponsored content: Reach out to brands and companies that align with your niche and pitch them on writing sponsored content for their products or services. Even if you don’t have anything to promote right now, you can still build your Medium account, so that in the future, you have a ready-made channel to promote any suitable brand or product. You can also join a sponsored content platform like Izea to connect with brands looking for content creators.
  2. Affiliate marketing: Incorporate affiliate links into your articles and earn commissions on any sales made through those links. Just be sure to disclose that the links are affiliate links and that you will earn a commission if someone makes a purchase through them.
  3. Sell your own products or services: Use Medium as a platform to promote and sell your own products or services. This could be anything from e-books, cources or coaching services to web apps or games.
  4. Use Medium to build your brand and grow your following: Even if you’re not making money directly through Medium, you can use the platform to build your brand and grow your following. This can lead to opportunities for paid writing gigs, speaking engagements, and more.
  5. Look for other writing platforms: Medium is not the only one way to monetize your writing. You can look for it on other platforms with partner programs or some kind of it like Substack, Ghost, Blogger, Wordpress, Tumblr, etc.. Also do think about get familiar with Patreon, Ko-fi, Buymeacoffee. Keep in mind that it’s best to use these resources in parallel with M., not instead of it, because despite the unavailability of the M.P.P., Medium is still an excellent resource that has a wonderful community 😌 A new article is just created? Amazing! Post it to all of the your channels/platforms/tools and get maximum from each of those.

So, don’t be discouraged! Put on your thinking cap, get creative and start exploring all the spectrum of opportunities.

Happy writing!
