What is GEO?
To speak briefly, GEO is an alternative financial system, based on a trusting relationships between people.
But the system is based not only on a trust but also on decentralization of emission, reliability, oppressing of accumulation and openness.
We understand decentralization of emission as an absence of single emission center. Thereby, everybody has the opportunity to issue the means of payment. Moreover, exactly this feature is distinctive for such means of payment from e-money.
Reliability is decentralization of maintenance of data and protection of operations. We try to reach real decentralization by building a truly distributed database. That’s why there are no nodes that keep consolidated datafile (blockchain) in this database, furthermore, synchronization is around connected users/nodes.

All abovementioned features are interconnected and in some way interdependent. Due to this the possibility of functioning of GEO is achieved.
