Should we start from the very history or just the gist of it? We could also talk about how and why Pepcoding was founded, and furthermore what made the company stand where it is today. There is so much to talk about that words might fall short. And I would like to get started with the history, because…why not?

Where it all began…

Pepcoding was founded in 2017, as a start-up in Pitampura, Delhi(now we have shifted our office in Noida, UP). It has been 4 years already, 5th going on. In these years Pepcoding has not only proven to be one of the bests in training but also proved to be amidst the bests when it comes to placements. In the past two years alone, we’ve placed over 1000 students at top-tier companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Adobe and many more. But hold up, before we discuss what we’ve achieved so far, let’s discuss “What led to the foundation of Pepcoding”.

Pepcoding was founded with the intention to achieve “The Great Coding Renaissance”. A goal that we can never clearly express in words, but our actions will. Few of our metrics that we hold ourselves against:

  1. Our students become smart enough to be coveted by the best IT firms — the Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, Oracle and Amazon— across India and the globe.
  2. Our students become efficient in winning the best coding competitions world — ICPC, Codejams and Hackercups.
  3. Our students usher in the next wave of Indian start-ups — as we wish to believe that our students have enough raw talent to one day build companies like Google and Microsoft, and our team is quite efficient to teach them the self-belief which will take them there.

The ideology behind Pepcoding Free Resources

If you don’t know about our Free Resources, then I’ve no idea where you have been all this time. Our Free Resources are one of the main elements, or rather characteristics of our company. At first, it started out with the concept of Programming, but slowly we have been expanding to other niches as well, including CBSE(XI and XII), NEET/JEE and more.

Why are we providing Free Resources? We don’t want any kind of barrier between a learner and his/her dreams, especially a financial barrier. Here is what our founder and CEO, Sumeet Malik has to say:

“The mission is to bring in “The great Indian coding renaissance” and PepCoding is the flag, under which I’ll take the battle for this cause. I’ll make sure nothing else will matter but this cause. I’ll not let money, health, motivation become roadblocks — I’ll not let roadblocks be roadblocks. I am just glad; I got to fight for it. This is my fight and I’ll gladly take the wins and the losses; scars and the medals; heartbreaks, jubilation and the tribulations along the way. This is the only way I could live, a life of mission.

I’ve been advised by people wiser than myself, not to make goal declarations. I understand it makes sense — a lot of it — if you lose on a declared goal you lose face. But me being me, I’ll rather make a goal declaration. I’ll not let the fear of shame guide my expressions.”
