Key Word: ‘Native Advertising’

I looked at all the comments and wondered what this was all about. And after looking into it, let me get on record with agreeing with Dan Shapir that he does have a point, but maybe he is not articulating it in a way that makes sense, entirely, to others.

That said, let me also say that I am a n00b to this and like other n00bs, have general anxiety about how much, JS wise, I should try and take on up front and all at once, as I attempt to get up to speed here. In other words, I very much see this article as being relevant to *me*.

First look at the very first sub-title + first sentence of the article:

“The Wait Is Over

I just looked through my inbox, and found a receipt for the awesome React for Beginners course dated November 4, 2015.”

What is going on here? Let us dissect it: ‘The Wait Is Over’ — hmmmmm, what might I be waiting for in regards to JavaScrpit frameworks??

‘…receipt for the awesome React for Beginners course dated November 4, 2015.”

BINGO! — This article, regardless of its merits of arguably questionable statistics is nothing at all but a shameless plug for a paid class that has a cute little countdown clocks showing us that we have < 2 days to take advantage of the sale price. WTF?!?!

Meanwhile, Sacha Greif is pretending that this is not any sort of “advertising” , but rather just “information”
