Yeah, this seemed pretty obvious a while back from the Iowa prediction market, and it’s been strange seeing 538 talk about how close it is. I think they’ve become much like the rest of the media and are talking up the race in the chase for eyeballs. (Why else have both a polls-only and a polls-plus forecast? Why not just make the most accurate forecast they can make and stick with that?)
