In recent times, a particular trend has been seen in the design of new devices. For years, the market was full of large vapers, capable of reaching powers unimaginable at first. Vapers sought to push devices to the limit, achieve huge clouds of vapor and reach powers that no one dreamed of when vaping began as a method to replace tobacco. This is how the powers increased and for this they needed more batteries and more space for them, resulting in large devices such as, for example, one of the most successful devices in the world of vaping, the SMOK Alien or others such as the Vaporesso Revenger X or the Innokin Proton Scion 2.
However, the trend was changing to bring a series of more compact devices. They were powerful electronic cigarettes but easier to transport and comfortable when vaping in public or on our trips abroad. In 2019, we could say that the success came mainly from the hands of the Pods. A return to compactness, to a form of vaping that, together with nicotine salts, offered an experience similar to a traditional cigarette and was capable of combining simplicity of use with the ability to satisfy the desire to smoke for those who had just smoked. SMOK North Pod
The SMOK Nord was born as an evolution of another great Pod from this famous brand, the SMOK Novo. In fact, it got some improvements such as an integrated 1100mAh battery, a mouthpiece with an innovative design that improved the draw as well as a button to facilitate its use.

Aegis Boost 40W
The Aegis Boost is a great Pod Mod that comes from the well-known Geekvape brand. This kit does not have a built-in battery as is usually the case with other Pods, but rather, in order to achieve this enormous power, it needs to be powered by an external 18650 battery that, as usual, is not included when purchasing the device.

With a design that follows the line of its predecessor, these devices reach a power of up to 80W , with the innovative IQ-80 chip and also presenting a new type of coils with a conical grid design (the 0.17ohm Mesh RGC) that favors the achievement of flavor as well as generating a large amount of vapor . The difference between the two devices is that the RPM80 Pro is powered by an external 18650 battery (which makes this model slightly taller), and the RPM80 Pod Kit is powered by a 3000mAh internal battery. Otherwise, their functions are exactly the same.
It is clear that there are devices for all tastes and that without a doubt small devices will be an important trend to follow throughout this 2020. Will the brands be able to surprise us with new innovations within Pods and Pod Mods? We’ll have to wait to find out.
