Weekly visual story: Why are DDOS and phishing attack vectors evergreen?

--

Despite the rapid explosion of sophisticated technology stacks (At times creating the illusion of replacing humans’ role soon :-) ), what makes these legacy attack vectors a crucial part of CISO’s Security conversations even in 2024 and the future?

Perhaps this is due to the growing tendency to reward for the magical “Tick” (aka correct answers) instead of a beautiful questions that can transcend historical paradigms. i.e., creating a closed loop that regenerates the past, leaving us wondering why history repeats itself as if no lesson has ever been learned.

I’m curious to un/learn from your kind inputs/thoughts.
