32 Ways to Solve Cart Abandonment (Without the Need for Discounts)
Catalin Zorzini

This is a great checklist every online retailer and marketer to keep in mind. I would also add data tracking and reporting (GA, heat-mapping and A/B testing as specified here: https://www.perpetto.com/blog/how-to-measure-improvement-in-shopping-cart-abandonment-rates/ ). Also it is good that you add wishlist option, social sharing and product rating and a progress bar. Free shipping and returns is (almost) obligatory. Another thing: mobile friendly checkout page and as short-as-possible journey (some have already implemented one-step-checkout with no registration needed, at least not before the order is already placed). Hope to talk even more. J
