The argument was part of her defence. If she were a decent person, she may not have been willing to use that argument as a defence. She certainly would not have laughed about what happened with the polygraph, if that were to be the case. The reason that people hate Hillary Clinton is that she is a horrible person in a position of power. Anyone with a conscience understands that.
