Mozilla’s nearly flawless job ad, and why.

I like this sentence: “If you’re deeply interested in working on visual community design and have relevant skills and experience, please consider applying even if your background doesn’t perfectly match our ideal credentials.

HP did an internal study which found women were less likely than men to apply for jobs for which they didn’t meet 100% of the qualifications. (Here is a reference to an HBR article discussing that research.) Hopefully the sentence above will make it safe for a larger cross-section of the workforce to feel comfortable applying for the job.
