Don’t worry guys Nunawading FC are recruiting

After a disappointing season, Fremantle delisted Tendai Mzungu, Clancee Pearce and Matt DeBoer amongst six new players who will not be at Fremantle next year.

However, with the AFL trade period underway their careers are most certainly not over.

Nunawading Football Club president Wayne Devene is in search of players, as well as a new coach for 2017, after a season of weekly thrashings.

You might remember the club was in the limelight earlier this year after consecutive losses by over 400 points and with Fremantle’s similar success rate in2016 Mzungu, Pearce and DeBoer can fit right into Nunawading’s mix and feel right at home.

The only thing is they may need to take a small pay cut with Nunawading’s list making it no certainty that the trio would get a regular spot in the side.

Docker’s teammate Zac Dawson may be another player on Nunawading’s radar after suspension destroyed his chances on Brownlow night, but Fremantle will likely play hardball with him.
