Ohio resident Peter Starr is an avid golfer who has played in tournaments at some of the most prominent courses in the United States, including Firestone Country Club, Columbia Hills Country Club, Canterbury Country Club, Trump International in LA, Oakmont Country Club, Inverness Country Club, Pinehills and other courses all over Ohio and Florida. Additionally, Peter Starr has attended PGA Tours and World Golf Championships held at Akron, Ohio’s Firestone Country Club, where he had the opportunity to meet legendary golfers Tiger Woods, John Daly, and Phil Mickelson.
Mr. Starr’s love of golf dates back to his youth. He played in the Southwest Golf League and on many other leagues growing up. He was a member of his high school’s golf team and became the first freshman on the varsity team. He was also the first freshman to finish a season with the lowest overall scores on the team. In his junior year, he tied the school’s 24-year-old record for lowest single-round score with a 74 in the Southwest Conference tournament at Pine Hills Golf Club. …
Ohio native Peter Starr was an accomplished golfer in high school who earned Southwestern Conference 2nd Team distinction in three of his four years of play. The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, Peter Starr played intramural basketball, golf and football at the school. He was also an accomplished golfer at his Ohio high school. In an effort to improve his athletic capabilities, Peter Starr regularly performed weight lifting exercises in high school and college.
