Dell XPS 13 linux kernel 4.5rc2

By the days of studing I’ve finally got my ubuntu fully working. Boot works, wifi works, skylake works and much more. Here’s the checkpoints you need to pass:

Follow these steps (but with newest kernel):

Repair boot from “nvme”:

cd /boot

sudo gedit config-4.5.*

CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NVME=y

sudo gedit /etc/default/grub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet splash i915.preliminary_hw_support=1"

4. finnaly:

sudo update-initramfs -u
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot
