Interesting indeed. I think the problem with brainstorming session is that it’s often hijacked by those with the loudest voice (or rank.) And depending on people’s personality, those with great ideas are hesitant to speak up or question their own idea all together.

In my experience, brainstorming works well when everyone brings an idea to the table without identifying who came up with what.
