MicroMusings — AGING I don’t know about you but it seems to me that as we mature our consciousness follows one of nature’s two templates for biological aging;
We either become soft, malleable and squishy, transitioning through a gentle organic decay until we’re finally reabsorbed by nature.
Or we become hard, brittle, calcified, and inviolable, evolving into a state of full mummification.
And I think if we take a conscious approach we have some choice in which type of aging we will exemplify.
On a purely selfish level I think the first option is a happier, more comfortable state to be in.
I think it allows for more smiles, laughter, and more understanding and kindness; more yes’s than no’s, and more connecting and embracing with whatever and whoever might come along.
