Toy Story, the first feature length film that was entirely computer generated, was released on November 22, 1995.

Toy Story, which has spawned sequels and marketing galore, was a fun film, told from a unique point of view: Toys. It posits that toys come to life when there are no people around. In essence, Toy Story is a buddy movie: Woody, an old fashioned cowboy doll, is pals with Buzz Lightyear, an astronaut doll.

Peril waits though. Because Andy, who is the boy who owns all the toys, is growing up. And the toys might get put away or worse, tossed out.

Toy Story got good reviews from critics and fans and wound up grossing $373,000,000.
