Peter Griffith isn’t The Candidate’s pussygate, and the 40% of the population that still won’t flee The Candidate, proof that there are LOTS of people who would definitely go there? They may not be you, they may not be me, they may not be people we know (or they might and we might just be in denial because we don’t have the option), but they are definitely out there.

Personally, I’ve never understood the appeal of horror/slasher films, zombie stuff, etc. Millions and millions of people seem to love being scared in a way I don’t. It seems naive to write off the idea that nobody would go there because of shame. Who’s the first family of American culture this decade? You may not want to swallow this idea, but it’s the Kardashians, who are completely without shame. And millions of people are trying to get where they are right now. Shame is not something everyone shares.
