There feels like there’s something fundamentally missing in this analysis, and I’m not sure what it is. Because the three core offensive suggestions do make sense. Baltimore does have field stretching deep receivers, and Flacco, who is at least a league average NFL qb, has always been at his best throwing the deep ball. Terrance west DID look good and Kenneth Dixon is also supposed to be good. And although I think the tight ends/mid range passing attack are the weakest of these three phases… any team that can attack the line of scrimmage on the ground, the linebackers in the middle through the air, and the safeties and corners deep SHOULD BE GOOD ON OFFENSE! That’s all three depths you need to mess around with! And yet the Ravens looked incompetent.
I love how this is supposedly Marc Trestman’s fault. What the heck was Harbaugh doing, sitting there with his thumb up his ass? Take over mid game, coach your team. It’s your job.
