Understanding the Worst Number in Business and How to Avoid It!

Never let any ONE thing be the ants’ pants of your business.

I don’t care if it’s one client, one customer, one media, one JV partner, one traffic source, or one anything else. One is the most dangerous number in business.

The best number is many. It can save you from a lot of despair, poverty and stress.

One creates neediness

One feeds into insecurities.

One makes people desperate, vulnerable, and act out of fear. Don’t let any one be more than half your income. In my business for lead generation, I have deployed 14 ways to attract customers not just one. This doesn’t bring in 14 times as many leads as they’re not all equally productive. But it damn sure brings in more than one would.

Better yet, it has created a wait list of clients.

Having options provides stability.

You can take any one of my marketing methods away from me and I will survive.

Facebook could shut down my ads, but with 13 other options that is not a problem. In any aspect in business, when you have only a few options, you’re very vulnerable to disruption and disaster.

Stability comes from many.

Ordinary marketers find one thing that works and are happy.

Great marketers are constantly trying to expand their stable of things that work or that they can get to work. They never get lazy or complacent. Especially when times are good. Always be building and adding names to your database, running ads, growing your network, creating new offers and the like. Numbers = confidence.

And confidence = cultivating an atmosphere where you are the prize, and your prices and fees are a privilege to pay.
