Don’t throw away your confidence

Hebrews 10:35–39
This world can be a difficult place in which to live. It can batter us and bruise us, it can beat us down and leave us struggling for a sense of what it is all about.
The book of Hebrews is written to explain to us the nature of the universe in which we live: the players, the purpose, the ultimate goal. It shows us the centrality of the covenant, forged through the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. It also shows us the profound danger of abandoning that covenant.
“Therefore, don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.” Hebrews 10:35
Our hope is incredible, the promise is both real and sure. We must simply live by faith, and, in living by faith we will preserve our soul.
