I don’t know either, Charlie, and it’s been on my mind a lot. The last relationship I was in (my first), I was in a very bad place and my self-love was at an all-time low, but I grew immensely from that experience. Now I’m single and open to a relationship, but I’m still nowhere near where I want to be, so I’m cautious about diving into something before I know I’m strong enough. But I think you’re right, you have to try . Perhaps if you find the right partner they can guide you further along the path towards loving yourself — or am I just being naïve?
