My Mission to Change a Million Children’s Lives Through Leadership4Kids
Imagine this, every morning when our kids wake up, they feel radiantly alive, and happy. No matter what happens during their day, they are equipped with the confidence, resilience and inspiration to fulfill their truest potential.
That is the world I am personally committed to creating…
Leadership4Kids is dedicated to helping kids become better leaders today, so they can live extraordinary lives tomorrow
My friends, I am on a mission.
I am going to change a million children’s lives through Leadership4Kids, a company I started two years ago to help kids become better leaders through mind-body education improving self-confidence, movement patterns, and presence.
Our children are our future. As parents, we all want the best for our kids — ever since they are born, how to feed them right, how to get them to sleep, how to potty-train them, etc.
Then as they continue to grow, we want them to do well in school — math, reading, music, art, and of course, sports. The list seems endless.
School and society does a good job teaching these and we believe somehow, these activities will help our kids in life. Sure, we want our children to be smart, social, athletic and artistic but I think, deep inside, we want something much more.
We want them to be grateful, we want them to be confident and we want them to be courageous. We want them to have a sense of purpose, a sense of dignity, a sense of joy, and achieve something bigger than themselves. In other words, we want them to be “leaders”. So how do we teach leadership?
One of the three core principles of Leadership4Kids framework is that “all mastery is self-mastery — the foundation of leadership is self-awareness.” To help kids develop that, one of the tools I use and have found to be very effective is through a daily journals.
After two years of working with kids and parents and seeing countless examples of how a simple daily journal can help kids gain skills such as self-awareness, confidence and gratitude. I was inspired (or one might say compelled) to get the journal I designed for the Leadership4Kids program published (thank you Absolute Author Publishing House) so more kids can benefit from this daily practice.
Today, I am super excited to share that Leadership4Kids’ I AM A LEADER: A 90-Day Leadership Journal for Kids (Ages 8–12) hit #1 New Release in “Children’s Social Skills” category on Amazon.
This journal is just the start. I’m going to change a million lives through the Leadership4Kids platform, and it will be done in a number of ways, including:
- Leadership4Kids weekly classes and workshops in local communities
- I AM A LEADER — A 90-Day Leadership Journal for Kids
- I AM A LEADER — 5-Minute Leadership Stories for Kids
- I AM A LEADER — board game
- Leadership4Kids online courses on specific topics
- Leadership4Kids books and video courses
- Leadership4Kids Podcast
This is a lot of work, I know. But this is meaningful work to me. I truly believe that children are gifts from God and nothing makes me happier to work with kids and seeing them grow, develop, and fulfill their full potential. I always look at myself, not as a teacher, but an advocate for kids. As such, my role is not to give them more “information” but to help them preserve their original wisdom and I do that through various games, exercises, and embodied practices.
So today, I am excited to share my mission with you all, because I’m deeply grateful for your support over the years (I start to see how all the dots are connected now looking backwards), and just know that I’m committed to making this happen.
Thank you for reading this post and if you share the same mission, I would love to hear from you.
