I doubt the various departments test for it, but that’s because it’s just not relevant. “Roid rage” is mostly an urban legend, and considering that Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance it’s highly doubtful that police would abuse it. (for fear of losing their jobs or felony prosecution)
I won’t get into why it is that a hormone replacement for men, on par with birth control pills, is scheduled because of fear and ignorance in government.
The real journalistic scoop is the difficulty the male population finds in obtaining medical treatment for various hormone illnesses, due to the medical community’s fear in prescribing these hormones (because they are wary of governmental pressure). If birth control pills or menopause treatments were as regulated, think of the uproar.
